Best Way To Keep Your Cilantro Fresh
When you get your cilantro home from the grocery story or farmers market, give it a quick rinse with cold water.
Take the bundle of cilantro and find the very bottom of the stems. With a kitchen scissor, cut about an inch off of the bottom of the stems.
Find a shallow vase, like a mason jar or glass, and fill it with enough water so that the bottom of the stems are submerged.
Place the cilantro into the vase, and keep this setup in your fridge. The top shelf should give it plenty of room to breath.
That’s it! This super simple trick will make a world of difference when you go to cook with your cilantro 4 days after you bought it. Doing these steps will be your best bet for keeping your cilantro from wilting too quickly!
