5 Easy Ways to Cook Eggs Differently

1) How to poach an egg.

Bring pot of water to a very light boil. Add in a tbsp of vinegar. Stir the water to create a spiral in the water. Crack an egg into a small bowl or saucer, then pour the egg gently into the boiling water, leaving plenty of room for each. Remove from heat, cover pot, and cook for 5 minutes depending on desired doneness. Drain with slotted spoon.

2) How to perfectly boil an egg.

Bring water to boil in a large pot. Carefully place in eggs with a spoon. Boil exactly 12 minutes. Remove eggs and place into a bowl of ice water. Let cool for 5 minutes. Peel and keep in fridge.

3) How to fry an egg, sunny side up.

Heat a pan at slightly above medium heat. Wait till it’s hot and then grease with butter or oil. Crack an egg onto greased section as softly and close to the pan as possible. Put a lid on the pan and cook for about 4 minutes for perfectly runny yellow. Or cook for 2 minutes and then flip and cook other side 1-3 minutes for cooked through.

4) How to perfectly scramble eggs.

Scramble eggs with a fork in a bowl. Heat a pan over medium heat and lightly grease with oil or butter. Pour in egg mix. As soon as some parts start to cook, use a wooden spoon to consistently mix around eggs until evenly cooked to desired doneness.

5) How to Bake eggs in the oven.

Set oven to bake at 400°. Grease a glass pan that will fit your eggs flat. You can add sautéed tomatoes and veggies to the pan if you would like. Then crack the eggs next to each other to fill up the pan. Bake 8-20 minutes.
