All About The Measurements!
“I did not count a single calorie in my keto journey and I’m feeling amazing!”
Meet Natalie Renstrom! At 3 and a half years into her journey, she’s a shining example of committing to the Keto lifestyle.
“My journey began while I was in college. Through my college years, I was a vegan. It did nothing but give me acne and bloat me, but I felt like I was doing the right thing for “ethical” reasons. I started feeling horrible so my mom suggested I see the naturopath/gluten specialist she saw. I went to the naturopath and she did a food sensitivity screening. Turned out I could not have any fruit, beans, rice, nuts, or soy related products. The naturopath then suggested I do the Ketogenic diet because she was able to see how my hormones were affected by these foods.”
Natalie was skeptical at first, but the results started quickly!
“After a few days, I had already lost 5 lbs (originally 155). I was so happy, then later learned it was water. I noticed fat starting to come off after a couple of weeks. I have remained the same weight after, around 135 lbs. I’m no longer focusing on weight but only my measurements. I realized the scale can lie and be the most deceiving thing. I did not count a single calorie in my keto journey and I’m feeling amazing!”
Her life and work revolve around keto now. Natalie’s goal is to actively help others that need it.
“My current job is being a KetoQuest coach with Jason Wittrock and Luisa Howlett. I love helping others, my goal is to motivate and support each person struggling. I don’t believe in fat loss drugs, and starvation diets. I believe in a real human diet for optimal health.”
