Happy Is The Goal

“Today, I can proudly say I love myself, and I am so proud of both the mother and wife I have become.”

Meet Emily, her keto journey and inspiring words should be enough to motivate just about anyone. About two years ago she realized she needed to make a serious change.

“I started my keto journey on November 28, 2017. I was at an all time low. Yo-yo dieting, to overeating,  and 6 months postpartum with my second child. I was battling depression, and didn’t like who I saw in the mirror. Mentally and physically, I was so unhappy with myself.”

Keto did more than just shed the extra pounds, it changed her whole perspective on life.

“When I discovered keto, I couldn’t believe just how fast my mood turned around... and soon, my whole life! Keto has made me the happiest that I’ve ever been. I’ve changed my mindset, the way I look at food, and my food addiction is no longer. I eat for fuel, not for enjoyment. I wanted so badly to be the best mother and wife I could be. For so long, I felt I was failing at that because I didn’t love myself how I should have.” 

She’s come a long way in just two years. Emily is down 40lbs and filled with gratitude and optimism.

“Today, I can proudly say I love myself, and I am so proud of both the mother and wife I have become. Gut health is directly related to mental health. There is no question about that! I finally have it in check, and I can’t thank this keto community, my family, and friends enough, for the never ending support.”
